Job summary

Join our team in a dynamic front-of-house position where you'll collaborate closely with clinical professionals to ensure our patients receive exceptional care.

Your top priority will be meeting the needs of our service users, with a strong commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer care.

Main duties of the job

You will serve as the front-of-house representative, welcoming visitors, managing entry to the ward, signing in and distributing keys to professionals, and handling telephone inquiries.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a tidy and organised reception area, as well as ensuring that office supplies and stationery are ordered and adequately stocked.

  • GCSE level English and Maths

Desirable

  • NVQ 3 or RSA Stage III Word Processing/Typing or equivalent
  • ECDL (or equivalent)
  • Medical knowledge or relevant NHS job experience

Experience

  • Experience of general clerical and administration duties

Desirable

  • Experience of setting up and maintaining office systems and maintaining office systems and procedures that support smooth running of the department
  • Experience of contact with users of mental health services
  • Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties
