Job summary

We are seeking a highly organised and flexible Administrator to support the Talking Therapies Team and the wider staff. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective administrative services, playing a key part in the smooth running of our team.

As part of a larger administrative team, the role requires adaptability and the ability to manage a variety of administrative and typist tasks to meet the needs of the service. Main duties of the job

  • Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Receive telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the team, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Liaise with appropriate personnel in the team to gather and co-ordinate patient information so this is accessible in a timely manner.
  • Process urgent referrals and arrange appropriate appointments using or patient management system.
  • Support other admin staff within your team and your Team and Deputy Lead in your base
  • Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.
