Job summary
We are seeking a speciality doctor (middle grade/ registrar level) with NHS experience to work in the Acute Medicine department at Musgrove Park. The department admits over 18,000 patients a year, providing excellent educational opportunities with 10 Acute medical consultants.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an integral part of the Acute Medicine department supporting the admission work on the acute medicine unit (AMU).

The post holder would primarily be responsible for patients attending for assessment in AMU, supporting other PGDiTs, ANPs and PAs in patient management and follow up with the support of the Acute Medicine Consultants. There will be opportunities to be involved on the AMU. There is flexibility regarding the timing of SPA and administration time and additional interests could be discussed.
