An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and forward thinking qualified Physiotherapist to the Bridgwater area.

By joining the Somerset's MSK physiotherapy team you will be integrating into a network of highly skilled practitioners encompassing advanced practice physiotherapists to Band 4 exercise instructors. You will be part of a bustling team, working in a supportive environment. We receive referrals from GPs, the orthopaedic assessment service, first contact practitioners and orthopaedic departments.
Do you want to be part of an exciting and dynamic therapy team within a Trust that places a strong emphasis on CPD, clinical supervision and staff development?
You will be working collaboratively with our clinical teams in department who offer mentoring, supervision and training sessions. We support our staff development through a supported CPD programmequarterly in-service training, service away day and yearly clinical away day, providing many opportunities for growth and development of both yourself and the wider service.
Main duties of the job
Provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to musculoskeletal outpatients.
Participate in the development of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service.
Provide specialist advice on the management of musculoskeletal conditions to patients, carers and other health care professionals.
Work without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training, clinical reasoning sessions and peer review. Access to advice and support is available from Senior clinicians within the team.
Provide support, guidance and training to Peers, Exercise Instructors, Physiotherapy assistants and students.
