Job summary
Recruiting Now for Newly Qualified Nurses to join our fantastic Trust here at Yeovil District Hospital.
We are able to offer a rotational programme starting from September,giving you an award winning preceptorship programme and career mentoring with placements on Medical and Surgical wards, this may include ED, ICU, acute admission areas and lots more!
We cover the costs of your first year registration fees!

We value our RGNs highly, so development and training within this role will be offered and prioritised. There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly which includes nights and weekends. This can be on a full time or part time basis.
You will require good communication skills, a team work approach and be able provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of your team.

Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a high standard of evidence based, patient centred care.
To demonstrate good interpersonal skills and to develop practical skills required within the speciality, whist reflecting the philosophy of care.
To deliver patient care on a daily basis, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care delivery, which builds on the philosophy of greater involvement of patients and their relatives/carers by using the Trusts patient and public involvement strategy.
