Are you interested in Critical Care?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Dietitian to join our team in critical care at Yeovil District Hospital. This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive and friendly team (including dietitians, nutrition nurses, support workers, apprentices and admin staff). The position is paid at band 7 for 18.75hours/week for a 12 month fixed term contract.
We have recently integrated with Taunton and the community. We are highly regarded, integral members of the wider multidisciplinary teams, providing both inpatient and outpatient services.

The role requires excellent communication and team working skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously to manage a specialist caseload. This is a great opportunity to develop and share clinical knowledge.
Main duties of the job
You will be working alongside the inpatient team as well as multidisciplinary teams within the hospital and wider dietetic services across Somerset Foundation Trust. Therefore this post requires excellent communication skills as well as strong team working abilities.
In addition to working as a team you will be expected to work autonomously , seeing patients on the ward, providing evidence-based care, education and information to patients, carers and health care professionals.
Supporting the training of students is encompassed within the role and you are a vital part in sharing expertise to guide and aid development in the future of dietetics.
We take pride in the health and wellbeing of our staff, offering restorative clinical supervision to enable us to be effective in our jobs.
If you think this post is for you, please call for an informal discussion and we welcome your application.
