This is arguablythemostexciting time to join Somerset Foundation Trust.Not only have we recently merged with Yeovil District Hospital, making us one of the largest organisations in the UK, we are also about to embarking on a transformation programme to develop a new Electronic Health Record for Somerset.

You will play a key role in planning and supporting the facilitation of the design of new services or the redesign and continuous improvement of existing processes.

Business Analysts support teams to identify, capture, describe, map and track digital requirements. The process maps and analysis completed by these roles highlight issues and identify opportunities where things could be done more efficiently and safely with the resources available.

Please note that as this is a fixed term contract, we are unable to offer sponsorship.

Main duties of the job

You will mainly focus on developing and managing business requirements and processes for applying/using technology to satisfy business needs.

As a business-facing role, you will be comfortable dealing with both back-office personnel and senior stakeholders across the Trust.

You will need to develop a good understanding of the functions of all the Service Groups and the interaction between these as you'll be working closely across all Technology Services teams to support the delivery of technology initiatives.
