Job summary
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Dispensary manager at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton. You will be responsible for leading the team to deliver a comprehensive Pharmacy Dispensing service, responding innovatively and proactively to the changing demands of the service, in a professional, safe, accurate, and efficient manner at all times.
You will also be a member of the Pharmacy management & Quality team contributing and reporting on KPI's and suggestions for improvement.
We have recently undergone a major refit in the Dispensary and our new upgraded automation system offers greater efficiency and safety benefits whilst improving workflow.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative team leader, with good interpersonal skills with the capacity to work calmly under pressure, and function objectively at busy and challenging times.
You will be required to provide professional leadership and management to Pharmacy Technicians, Dispensers, & Pre-registration staff assigned to the Dispensary .
You must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 5 years post registration experience, with demonstrated experience of managing both a Dispensary & Staff,
