Healthcare Assistant A&E - Musgrove Park

Our bustling, friendly A&E Department has opportunities for Health Care Assistants who are keen to develop skills in Emergency Care.

We care for over 60,000 patients a year.

You will receive full orientation, with support from our nursing staff, as we help you to develop the skills that you need to give the best possible care to your patients. You will also haveaccess to in-house training.

You will be a core member of a team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care, alongside delivering the KPIs of 4 hour visit and 15 minute triage and ambulance handover.

Main duties of the job

Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.

There will be an expectation of a 24/7 approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.

Please be advised, if you cannot commit to the following shift patterns, you will be referred to our Bank team who will have a discussion with you about flexible working patterns.

Days: Between the hours of 7am and 7:30pm

Nights: Between the hours of 7pm and 7:30 am
