Job summary

An exciting opportunity for a Bowel Cancer Screening Administrator has arisen to join our team!

The post holder will provide high quality administrative support to the Somerset Bowel Cancer Screening Programme to enable effective delivery of the service. This is an essential role to ensure patients are scheduled for clinics and colonoscopy appointments within the required timescales.

Communication is a key strength required, as the role will link with patients, the Southern Hub who manage the invitation process and all staff within the Programme both at Musgrove and Yeovil.

The role is required for 3 days per week 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Main duties of the job

The Somerset Bowel Cancer Screening Centre based in Musgrove Park Hospital offers endoscopy and specialist nurse clinics in both Musgrove Park and Yeovil Hospitals for those people receiving a screening abnormal FIT test result.

The Administrator is a key role to provide high quality administrative support to the Somerset Bowel Cancer Screening Centre to enable effective delivery of the screening programme on two hospital sites in Somerset.
