We are currently recruiting to a Facilities Service Assistant position at South Petherton Community Hospital.
We have 18 hours available working 3 x 6 hour shifts including some weekends and evenings. The shifts are more likely to be 8.30 - 2.30pm or 2 - 8pm but the hours may need to be flexible to cover sickness and holidays etc. In turn we can offer flexibility should you need it.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be in the housekeeping and portering departments.
The role involves cleaning within the Hospital such as ward, outpatients, X-Ray, toilets, meeting rooms, and offices. You'll occasionally need to support in the removal of waste, movement of supplies, acceptance of deliveries and ordering of laundry.
You'll help to play a key role in our ongoing fight against hospital acquired infections by ensuring that the hospital is cleaned on a regular basis to a consistently high standard and make a valuable contribution in the wider care team that supports a patient during their time in hospital.
