Exciting opportunity to work in Burnham on Sea War Memorial Hospital Outpatients Department
Band 3 Health Care Assistant 37.5hrs per week
The full time positions of 37.5hrs per week and a permanent post the hours will cover clinics within the department predominately and with some shifts working with the Bridgwater OPD staff to maintain competencies and team work to ensure your 37.5hrs are covered.
The 37.5hrs can be put up as a job share for 2 HCAs on band 3
Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
- In this fast-paced role, you will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the Outpatients department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
- As a HCA, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient's health and well-being.
- You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
- You must have experience or a willingness to learn both in Venepuncture, OCT, Visual Fields, Logmar, Icare , Bladder scanning and ECG Recording.
- Run clinics independently
