Job summary

Are you a Staff Nurse looking to join a friendly, longstanding team?

If so, we are looking for you to join us on a part-time basis! Full training and development is offered in this role. We can offer you flexibility with hours, if you can offer us the same, as this role will involve nights and weekends.

You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking professional who has experience of working in a team. With the patient at the centre of all you do, you will require good communication skills, be assertive and provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of the ward Sister.

We are confident that once you've seen what we can offer you won't want to leave - informal visits/chats always welcome.

Main duties of the job

Minehead Hospital boasts state of the art facilities in a fabulous rural location. We are situated on the coast in beautiful West Somerset, we offer excellent staff facilities including staff dining room with a south facing balcony, large free staff car park & modern changing facilities.

The ward has 19 inpatient beds set out as single rooms and two four bed bays. Each room has an on-suite and overhead hoist system. All modern facilities. We have a specially designed room for end of life care. We offer rehabilitation and subacute medical intervention.
