Senior Right to Work Advisor

Job summary

Are you an organised, people focused compliance professional with strong Right to Work and sponsorship knowledge? We are seeking a proactive Senior Right to Work Advisor to support the delivery of a high quality Right to Work service within the Resourcing team.

You will support the Resourcing Compliance and Improvement Lead to maintain compliance with Home Office/UKVI requirements, provide specialist advice on sponsorship and right to work, and ensure processes are current, effective and consistently applied.

You will have oversight of daily operational activity, ensuring key tasks are completed and work is prioritised appropriately. You will support and train team members, manage Certificate of Sponsorship workflows, undertake routine audits, and help ensure the Trust meets its UKVI sponsor licence reporting duties, while identifying opportunities to improve compliance processes. You'll bring a calm, professional approach, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to advise on complex rules and requirements.

Main duties of the job

Provide daily supervision to the Right to Work Advisor and oversee the work of administrative support staff. Ensure all right-to-work processes and work streams are current and effective in delivering a high-quality service.

Have oversight of and lead the Recruitment Advisor and administrative support staff in monitoring, prioritisng and responding to enquiries received into the Right to Work mailbox in a timely manner, having overall responsibility for the effective management of the inbox.

In conjunction with and support from the Resourcing Compliance and Improvement Lead be fully aware of the Recruitment and Selection policy, related internal policies and current Sponsorship, Immigration and Right to Work rules and regulations.
