Job summary
The Data and AI Research Governance Coordinator is responsible for providing research governance support across a portfolio of research projects involving NHS clinical informatics and AI, across a wide range of specialties, throughout the life course of the research project. This role does not involve directly working with clinical data but instead supporting researchers to ensure their projects meet research governance standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist with the development of relevant governance processes and ensure that the Trust is fully compliant with the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, UK GDPR and Data Protection Act and any other applicable legislation, framework or national and international guidance.
