Job summary

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Administrator to join our busy Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and can confidently support a range of specialist services.

As a Band 3 Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our paediatric and adult clinics and providing a welcoming, efficient service to patients and staff. You will work closely with clinicians, nurses, and other administrative colleagues to ensure excellent patient care and seamless clinic coordination.

This role requires working Monday, Tuesday and Friday's 8am-4pm.

Main duties of the job

Answering telephone inquiries and providing information to patients, parents, and clinical teams.

Welcoming patients to the clinic and ensuring a friendly, supportive environment.

Checking in patients for a range of specialist pediatric and Adult clinics.Managing room booking to support clinical activities.

Checking in and welcoming patients attending daily Glucose Tolerance Tests (GTT).

Booking pediatric GP patients for blood tests.

Booking pediatric patients via the REF420 pathway, ensuring clinical requests are accurately actioned.

Booking and organising Venesection appointments, liaising with clinical teams as required.

Coordinating with MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine teams to arrange pediatric cannulation appointments prior to imaging procedures.
