Job summary
We are currently seeking a research nurse to join our small but vibrant research team for maternity cover. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused NIHR Portfolio clinical research studies, investigating cardiovascular disease. They will predominantly be helping to recruit to and deliver the POPPY study - a large multi-site study examining links between pregnancy complications and future increased cardiovascular risk, by recruiting women planning their first pregnancy.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job will be:
- Identifying and recruiting eligible clinical research participantsundertaking research assessments and providing information and support to participants
- Assisting with study specific administrative tasks, following study protocols
- You will participate in patient and public involvement and engagement activities, and liaise with other staff members and organisations, as required.
