Job summary

To provide a reception service to participants, patients, their relatives and visitors attending the CCRC.

To ensure effective and efficient management and support of clinical research studies conducted across the CCRC.

Main duties of the job

Be responsible for the arrival of all visitors and study participants, directing and informing relevant people of their arrival.

Be responsible for the house keeping of the Meeting rooms, waiting areas and own areas.

Handle enquiries as they occur in a professional manner, liaising with other disciplines, units as appropriate and referring issues on where necessary.

Assist with the room set up for meetings, interviews and training sessionsProvide a telephone enquiry service for the ward reception area.

Assist with entering clinic list bookings and patient appointments on EPIC and CRFManager.

Register, check and update patient details on the EPIC (computer system), CRF Manager (Department system), inform participants/patients/visitors of any delays.

To work closely with other Administrators on the Clinical Research Facility (CRF), Clinical Investigation Ward (CIW) and Cambridge Clinical Research Centre (CCRC) to provide reception cover on all levels.

Receive deliveries and post, pass on relevant information to relevant staff.Printing, filing and administrative minute taking.

Report faulty equipment/room fittings to appropriate personnel.

Post holder may be required to work very occasional unsocial hours to meet service needs; this may include working evenings.
