Job summary

We are looking for staff that can offer support to the nursing team on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is not a clinical role and you will not be doing patient care. The role involves stocking up areas, cleaning of equipment and running errands for the nursing team to allow them to care for the patients. You must have previous experience of handling equipment on NICU or a critical care environment, good communication skills, team working, and reliability and demonstrate an approachable manner. You will be responsible to the senior nurse on duty and carry out non clinical duties as requested. The shifts are 11.5 hours and include day and night duty

Main duties of the job

To carry out non-nursing duties to assist in the smooth running of NICU. To have good communication skills and demonstrate an approachable manner when dealing with families within the service needs. To be a team player demonstrating reliability. To be responsible to the senior nurse on duty and carry out duties as requested.
