Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join us as a Pharmacy Senior Assistant Technical Officer - Clinical Services.

Main duties of the job

To assist and support in the provision of a safe and efficient Ward-based Pharmacy Service in accordance with Trust and local guidelines, policies and procedures.

To include:

The management of medicines at Ward level, including Ward stock, Inpatient named supplies,waste and recycling.

Labelling, dispensing and supplying medicines at Ward level.

Proactively managing the pharmacy discharge process liaising with the Multi-disciplinary Team(MDT) and pharmacy teams.

Supporting the MDT with Bar Code Medicines Administration (BCMA) workflows at Ward level.
