Staff Bank Services successfully provides temporary staffing throughout Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust via a variety of different assignments.
We are looking to register reliable, hardworking individuals who would thrive in a busy environment who are available to work up to 12 hour shifts, as and when required. You will be working within the Environmental Services team, ensuring waste is collected from offsite CUH run properties. You will be required to drive a 3.5t Luton van, so a clean UK driving licence is a must.

Main duties of the job
The Bank Environmental Services Waste Collection driver will assist the Process and Resource Manager and his/her staff in providing and maintaining an efficient waste collection service in accordance with the following list of duties.
This post is subject to conditional requirement that the appointee obtains within a three month induction the following training requirements.
- Manual Handling
- Training in procedures for areas covered
- Training in Waste Acceptance and Licensing criteria
- Driver Assessment for driving Trust vehicle
- Training ISYS waste logging computer use
- Fork lift driver licence
- Duty of Care Waste Management Courses
- Hazardous waste classification course
- Waste classification and coding course
- Carriage of Dangerous goods awareness course
