To deliver and maintain a professional Reception and administration service to patients, visitors and colleagues.
Main duties of the job
Input information onto the Epic System
Input information onto Mosaiq
Effectively and professionally welcoming patients, visitors, relatives, colleagues and Trust Staff into the department in a friendly and courteous manner, presenting a good image of you through your attitude, behaviour and appearance.
Plan and organise a range of straightforward tasks, ensuring the provision of a professional Administration service.
Contribute to ensuring that the working environment is safe and of a professional appearance, reporting any problems, organising repairs/collection of waste as appropriate and maintain efficient and effective use of resources.
Greet visitors and respond to requests for basic information
Book patients in for treatment using the Mosaiq System
Receive and respond to telephone calls
Receive and respond to straightforward emails
Maintain stock levels
Cover other positions during absence
Complete administration tasks including scanning documents, photocopying
Deal with Transport patients and subsequent queries involving transport, liaising with the transport desk to ensure patients arrive or leave the department in a timely manner
Any other administrative duties as required
