Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Critical Care Transfer Service, which delivers adult critical care transfers across the East of England Critical Care Network. We require a Transfer Practitioner with critical care experience to support the Transfer Doctors in the transfer of the critically ill adult. The service is a 24/7 service that facilitates the safe transfer of patients for emergency treatment, escalation of care, capacity reasons and repatriations from Emergency departments and Intensive care units across the East of England.
We are seeking a part time practitioner to join our team.
Main duties of the job
Transferring critically unwell adults between hospitals in the East of England for reasons such as emergency treatment, escalation of care, capacity and repatriations.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transfer of this group of patients
