Job summary

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology Clinical Trials and Drug Development. This post is available for a period of 12 months commencing on the 2nd March 2026.

Main duties of the job

The aim of this fellowship is to provide the candidate with the opportunity to embed themselves in the paediatric haematology/oncology clinical trials team at Addenbrookes Hospital and gain exposure to the process of clinical trial set-up, ethics, governance and delivery.

In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria, i.e. minimum qualifications MBBS, preferably ST4 or above with some research experience, though not essential.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.

About us

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
