  We are recruiting for the Community Diagnostic Centre at Ely!

 We have opened two new CDC's at Wisbech and Ely in the past 2 years to make it easier for people to access diagnostic services such as CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Echo and Respiratory. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to be part of our Admin team in Ely!
 The admin team in Ely aims to provide an excellent experience to patients and deliver a professional administration and reception service to modalities within the CDC and all its users, patients, relatives and colleagues.
 As Booking Administrator, you will respond to patient enquiries in an effective and empathetic way, support the reception area, assign appointments for all diagnostic modalities and ensure that the bookings are within specified timeframes. You will act as an ambassador for NHS values ensuring exceptional healthcare and customer service.
 Please note:This role is based at an offsite location at the Ely Community Diagnostics Centre. The Ely Community Diagnostic Centre is based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely, Cambridgeshire.
  Main duties of the job
  Appointment Management: Manage and coordinate patient appointments for diagnostic tests, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely service delivery within local and national KPIs.
 Patient Communication: Act as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, or in-person, providing clear and concise information about appointment details, cancellations, or rescheduling.
 Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input and update patient information into the booking system and maintain organised records.
 Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, ensuring that they are informed of appointment schedules and any special patient requirements.
 System Management: Use relevant software systems to manage appointments, including handling cancellations, no-shows, and changes efficiently.
 General Administrative Duties: Provide support with filing, managing correspondence, reception duties, and other administrative tasks as required.
 Flexibility: You will need to be flexible with a willingness to work to cover a service that is open 7 days a week from 7am-8pm
