Job summary
The role of the Buildings Supervisor is to effectively supervise all staff and contractors under their control.
You will manage the In-house staff and Contractors effectively and professionally with additional responsibility to cover other Supervisors' areas in their absence, for example Carpentry.
You will oversee the internal and external Maintenance of Building Fabric and Infrastructure, such as Road and Pathways, Roofs, Flooring and Decorating.
Work is not limited to and may include compliance of Passive Fire Systems and working alongside colleagues to deliver patient needs.
Main duties of the job
Being a member of the Estates Operations Team, you will have both a group and individual responsibility for defined aspects of the service and will ensure that your contribution is both positive and beneficial in helping the Estates Operations Team and the Estates and Facilities Directorate to fulfil the Trust's overall objectives.
You will ensure that a quality service is delivered that meets the expectations of Trust staff, patients and the public.
