Job summary

CUH is looking for well organised and committed individuals to join the Procurement Team to support as Material Handlers.

This is generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 18:00 service however, we run a 24/7 service and you may be required to change times to suit the service needs and demands.

Main duties of the job

As a Materials Handler you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities and replenishment of stock across the Trust.

Activities will include ordering, picking goods from the stores, receipting and putting away the stock in the different locations within the Trust.

You must have good attention to detail for daily stock counts, good housekeeping and be able to work in a small team environment.

The role entails both manual and moving handling, including bending, climbing and moving equipment.

You will also be providing an interface between the procurement department and other departments internal to the Trust.
