Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Specialty Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Subspecialty trainee in Gynaecology Oncology).
This post to commence from 08 December 2025 until 30 November 2027.
Main duties of the job
Candidates must hold a current NTN, and by the time of appointment should have completed all the requirements of the RCOG training matrix and be ready to move to an ST6 level with added surgical experience. They should also have completed the entire basic, intermediate and advanced RCOG logbook. Fellowship in Gynaecology Oncology is welcome.
The subspecialty training programme is a two-year programme. Candidates will be expected to fulfil the RCOG Subspecialty criteria for research exemption at the time of appointment.
The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this post has the required educational and dean's approval. All candidates will be required to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the English language.
About us
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2024). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
