Job summary
Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals wishing to join the team within the Cambridge Haemophilia and Thrombophilia Centre Specialist Haemostasis Unit.
The unit provides a comprehensive repertoire of tests to the hospital trust, the Cambridge Comprehensive Care Haemophilia Centre and acts as a referral centre for Specialist Haemostasis testing for many other hospitals and organisations.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Haemostasis unit. The unit is located within a dedicated Haemophilia centre, working closely with the medical and nursing staff.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, they will also possess excellent communication skills and must be able to take responsibility for day-to-day planning and prioritising of workload.

Performs a range of routine healthcare science activities under supervision, e.g. sample preparation and storage
Maintains clinical records in relation to activities carried out.
To work flexibly in reflection of service needs
The work of the service brings staff into constant contact with human body fluids, tissues and hazardous chemicals. This may include blood
