Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse is now available at Cambridge Dialysis Centre, working for Addenbrooke's Trust, at an off site Dialysis unit in Fen Ditton, Cambridge.
The unit is a large satellite dialysis unit serving the Cambridgeshire and surrounding area caring for Chronic Haemodialysis dependent patients. This unit consists of 36 dialysis stations, dialysing patients Monday through Saturday from 07:00 hours until 23:30 hours. The committed nurses at this unit also provide staffing to the acute 6 bedded unit on ward C5 at the main hospital, including an on call service from 02:00 hours through until 07:30 hours and Sundays all day.
You should be an excellent team member with evidence of good communication and organisational skills and recent experience of caring for haemodialysis patients in the chronic or acute care setting to apply for this post.

Main duties of the job
To assist the Senior Sister in the overall running of the ward and the co-ordination of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective standard of patient care
To be a team leader for a group of patients receiving Haemodialysis in a clinical area
To provide leadership on both acute and chronic dialysis setting
To provide cover for the on call roster
