Job summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic clinical fellow (Higher IMT 3+/ST4+) in Gastroenterology, Intestinal Rehabilitation and Intestinal Transplant at Addenbrooke's Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

There is one post available for a period of 6 months with possible extension to 12 months, available from 01 September 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cambridge Centre for Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplant, working in a thriving multi-disciplinary team across the Transplant and Digestive Diseases Directorates at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide medical care for patients requiring artificial nutrition and those undergoing intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. The postholder will be supported by a team of Gastroenterologists, Transplant and Intestinal Failure Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, Coordinators, Psychologist and associated Junior Doctors. There will be opportunities for experience in other areas of Gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel disease or coeliac disease, as well as research opportunities.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
