Job summary
The primary aim is the welfare of the patients, either directly or indirectly. You will assist patients and visitors getting around the external areas of the hospital collecting and delivering them to one of the eight bus stops around the site.
You will be a hardworking, reliable and organised team player with good communication skills and experience of working with customers.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard in customer care.
To behave in a friendly, approachable and professional way when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Torecogniseand assist with any additional needs of the vulnerable, elderly, infirmed or disabled passengers. To provide a safe and comfortable journey.
Ability to keep calm under pressure.
To comply with all traffic laws and Trust policies and procedures.
Ability to drive a vehicle to a competent and safe standard.

- Valid current UK (or acceptable other) drivers licence
- Over 21 years old only (due to PCV requirements)
- Drivers licence with no more than 3 endorsements points and held for more than 2 years
- PSV / LGV driving licence
- NVQ In Road passenger transport
- Drivers Certificate of professional Competence (CPC)
