Job summary

We have an exciting opportunityfor an experienced business intelligence analyst to join our central informatics team.

As part of the eHospital team the post holder will be responsible for the design and creation of reports for end users. The post holder will use a number of different tools such as SQL and QlikView to create reports which users can access via their desktop.

The successful candidate will have experience of running and managing projects. You will be responsible for planning and prioritising your own workload as well as supporting the wider team. You will liaise with staff around the organisation to identify their reporting requirements and optimisation needs.

Main duties of the job

The role will support Senior Team Leaders in developing the reporting function around Epic, optimising existing business intelligence dashboards as well as creating new ones. You will actively participate in new projects across the trust that requires reporting input.

As part of the wider Information Management Systems and Analytics team you may be required to help with cross-cover using skills in Excel or Access to create and produce data for submission or reporting.

Experience of working with Epic is required but we are also keen to see candidates with strong SQL and data visualisation skills. Candidates without current Epic certifications will be required to undertake online Epic training in the appropriate modules.

  • Able to demonstrate advanced/expert computer skills, e.g. highly proficient, competent and efficient in a range of software applications.
