Job summary

This is an Administrative role to support the Trust Quality & Compliance Manager and Head of Quality Assurance & Compliance with keyadministrative tasks including data management and organisation of the Compliance Team work streams, including supporting the governanceand reporting into the Trust's corporate governance framework.

The role also incorporates the Trust CAS administrator position, which also reports into the Head of Quality Assurance, (Trust CAS Officer).

There may be scope to appoint at Band 4 level and offer a development opportunity into a Band 5 role for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

Support the Trust Compliance Manager and Head of Quality Assurance & Compliance with key administrative tasks and organisation of theCompliance Team work-streams.

Support in the planning, preparation and delivery of the Trust's compliance programme in relation to CQC regulations and HTA regulations.

Support the Trust external visits register.

As Trust CAS Administrator you will support and organise the Central Alert System process to support the Trust CAS officer.

Support monitoring the New Interventional Procedures process on behalf of the Trust.

Participate in carrying out audits and ward accreditation with other team members.

There may be opportunity to get involved in activities across Safety and Quality support, including patient safety, documents management, clinicalaudit for example.

  • A-Level (or equivalent) or relevant experience in a quality / clinical governance / audit / administration role in the NHS (Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent professional experience may be acceptable).

Desirable

  • Specific technical/professional qualification in relation to healthcare.
