Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised person to join the Ophthalmology Administration Team as an 18 week pathway tracker.
You will be asked to provide an efficient and effective 18 week tracking and advice service to colleagues and management. You will also have oversight of our harm review process and ensure these are completed on time.
The post holder must be capable of working independently while exercising personal initiative and able to organise their work load to meet the changes in demand within the service. Knowledge of 18 week RTT rule and administration of clinics is desirable but full training on all aspects of the role will be given.
You must be able to uphold the Trust values of Safe, Kind and Excellent at all times.
Main duties of the job
Working within a complex environment the post holder has responsibility for managing, tracking and navigating 18 week patient pathways and reporting at relevant meetings, ensuring that national and local targets are met.
Responsible for validating amending and improving data quality in relation to pathways from initial referral, through diagnostics to completion of patients episode.
Proactively ensuring the patient has timely appointments within their pathway in order to achieve the waiting time targets.
Liaising and co-coordinating with all involved in the patient's management.
