Job summary

The Oncology team are looking for a Clinic Coordinator who is a professional, effective and an efficient team player to line manage, and monitor and support Cancer waiting lists, and oversee Oncology clinics.

The successful candidate will provide an administrative service to Oncology, and to all its users including patients, services, relatives and colleagues.

Previous experience of clinic management is desirable, as is a knowledge of cancer waiting times. This role would suit an ambitious individual with a drive to develop the service, themselves and their team.

Main duties of the job

Proactively manage and coordinate the administrative functions within Oncology, monitor and support Cancer waiting lists, and oversee Oncology Clinics.

The job requires a high level of organisation to ensure all the available clinic capacity is utilized. Previous experience of clinic management is desirable, as is a knowledge of cancer waiting times. This will enable the department to meet its demand and therefore provide a good service to all our users including patients, services, relatives and colleagues.

Effective communication is essential to provide daily support to the staff within clinic, and act as a key point of contact for the department.
