A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the fast paced office of The Emmeline Centre at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
We are looking for a well organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Equipment Team in Hearing Services (all necessary training will be provided). You will be part of a team that covers equipment for the Emmeline Centre.
The ability to work under pressure, be organised, work proactively and have excellent customer service skills are essential. You must be able to work independently and be able to liaise with all members of the department to provide patients with first class customer service.
You must be well presented, friendly and welcoming to all and uphold our values of kind, safe and excellent at all times.
This is a busy role, but one that offers an excellent sense of achievement and the opportunity to develop a range of coordination and administration skills as well as an understanding of the NHS and how we deliver great patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Work in an busy office environment
- Perform variety of administrative tasks to help the Equipment team, this will include ordering and receipting of audiology specific items, the processing of ear moulds and processor kits
- Support the clinical & admin work of the Equipment Team
- Carry out hearing aid repairs & troubleshooting
- Answer telephone/email
- Help support patients in the management of hearing device and hearing loss.
