We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our busy Pharmacy Sterile Production Unit. We are looking for a Senior Assistant Technical Officer to join our team of Pharmacy Technicians, Assistant Technical Officers and Pharmacists to provide essential services for our patients to ensure they have the best treatment and outcome during their stay.
Pharmacy Aseptic Services provides a range of sterile medicinal products includingChemotherapy, Total Parenteral Nutrition, Clinical Trial medication and Eye Drops.

Main duties of the job
Perform a range of organisational, supervisory and dispensing functions in order to provide efficient and quality clinical technical services to wards and clinics within the Trust. Duties will be predominantly concerned with the organisation and direct supervision of clean room staff and activities; including assembly, preparation and dispensing of sterile pharmaceuticals. Stock control and clerical duties are also assigned to this post.
