Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our reception team within the Emergency Department. This 24/7 role is varied, busy and can be challenging with no two days the same. As as a member of our team you must be able to work well under pressure, be organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate requires good computer skills and a compassionate and caring outlook, with good communication skills, often in challenging circumstances.
Previous experience of working within a hospital environment would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To deliver and maintain a professional administration/clerical/data and/or reception service to The Emergency Department and to all its users patients, relatives and colleagues.
