Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nursing Associate to join the Specialist Diabetes team working across an inpatient and outpatient setting. This role provides the perfect opportunity for someone with a keen interest in diabetes who wants to develop their specialist skills.

Main duties of the job

As part of the role you will be involved in educating both patients and ward staff in many aspects of diabetes management including using technology such as continuous glucose monitoring and flash glucose monitoring.

You will be committed and motivated with excellent communication skills, an interest in diabetes and delivering education to both patients and staff.

Desirable

  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and its application
  • Evidence of undertaking course relating to diabetes such as CDEP or a willingness to complete
