Job summary

Key duties and responsibilities:

The post holder will:

Auditing:

  • Undertake audits as requested and required by the Capital, Estates and Facilities Management Team
  • Facilitate Quality Assurance in Estates and Facilities using standards defined in operating manuals and processes
  • Be responsible, together with other Quality Assurance Officers to ensure continuing compliance with agreed standards and KPIs for all audits required by the Deputy Head of Support Services
  • Be responsible for administration and preparation of performance and quality assurance audit results and reports
  • Be responsible to collate and present quality assurance data obtained from current contractors services.

IT skills and information management:

  • Be expected to have good IT skills to be able to utilise IT systems (e.g. C4CPAS and Excel).
  • Ensure that all relevant information in management (electronic/paper) are saved and appropriately filed
  • Report changes required to the Audit functions and IT systems (e.g. C4CPAS), make recommendations for better ways of working as opportunities allow

Policies and Procedures:

  • Assist with the review and development of policies and procedures relevant to their work.

Communication and team working relationships

  • Fully participate as part of the Quality and Safety Governance Team, attending regular team meetings and maintaining good communication and working relationships at all times

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for undertaking a number of different audit functions within the Estates and Facilities Department including contracted services across the Division, condition appraisal and health and safety / compliance matters.
