Job summary

Experts in our fieldsince 1989, AVM Services are decontamination specialists operating commercially within the Capital Estates and Facilities department of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for someone who will support the Lead Trainer, eLearning Project Development Manager and General Manager in the enhancement, development and delivery of training courses and programs delivered across the UK.

The courses delivered will be AVM's City & Guilds approved decontamination courses which are delivered by AVM certified trainers to engineers and users within SSD and estates facilities departments of UK wide NHS Trusts and private healthcare organisations. This training is delivered either at customer sites or at designated venues.

Main duties of the job

Support in conjunction with the Lead Trainer and effective, robust and accurate training programs in line with the business' requirement to improve technical expertise whilst exceeding colleague and customer expectations.

  • Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service/ Business Admin Marketing/ITQ or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuous personal development.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in an administration role.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Experience of managing social media channels, email marketing campaigns and website content.

Desirable

  • Experience in marketing and administrating training courses both online and offline.

Knowledge

Essential

  • You will need to be commercially minded, have strong analytical capabilities and work well under pressure.

Desirable

  • Adaptable to new technologies and the willingness to learn.
  • IT literate.

Skills

Essential

  • Good knowledge of Ms Word, Excel.
  • An understanding of digital marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mind-set, with basic understanding of data analysis.
