Are you an experienced safeguarding midwife looking for a new challenge? We are currently looking to recruit a passionate Named Midwife for Safeguarding to join our Think Family safeguarding team.
The safeguarding midwife for the Rosie hospital works closely with specialist safeguarding practitioners across the lifespan both within the Trust and with wider health and multi-agency partners to provide safe and excellent care to our patients and their families.
This is a full time post and you will be expected to work closely with the Adult and Children safeguardingleads as well as the Head of Safeguarding to deliver the expert role across the organisation in accordance with national guidance.
Main duties of the job
To be a highly visible senior midwife, providing specialist knowledge, advice and clinical expertise to all staff in maternity services in all areas of Safeguarding vulnerable women
To provide leadership and support in respect of the safeguarding agenda across the Women's Health directorate.
To work collaboratively as part of the wider CUH multi-disciplinary team and partner agencies to ensure that pregnant women and their babies who come into contact with our services are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted.
To work as part of the CUH Think Family safeguarding team in supporting all activities to ensure the Trust meet its statutory responsibilities to safeguard vulnerable adults, women, and children.
