Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Band 4 Associate Educator for Clinical Support Workers within the Clinical Education Team. This post will support the education and development of the Clinical Support Worker (CSW) workforce across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This post will predominantly be focused on supporting those HCSW's working within bank staff posts.

You will be part of the Clinical Education Team, who together with other members of the team, will be responsible for supporting planning and delivering a range of education and development activities for CSWs.

You will be an innovative and motivated individual who has some experience of providing education, development and feedback to others. However, full support will be available to undertake any additional education and development activities related to the post.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced support worker who has the skills and ambition to develop their career within a Clinical Education role.

Main duties of the job

To work across CUHFT as part of the Clinical Education Support Team to support and develop HCSW education in practice, ensuring it meets national and Trust requirements

To be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality clinical learning environments and to work locally in clinical areas across the Trust

To have a clear commitment towards the education of HCSW's

To support the development of newly appointed future and current HCSW's within clinical areas

To support with project work and evaluations linked to development, education and training of HCSW's
