As the manager for nursing in the fertility unit you will manage the clinical setting providing fertility treatments to patients in a supportive manner. You will be a dynamic leader with vision and passion to support the team.
You will provide expert advice, training, and supervising in all aspects of fertility treatment, ensuring regular audit and competency of fertility Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare assistants to ensure a safe and effective standard of patient care.
Main duties of the job
As the manager for nursing in the fertility unit you will manage the clinical setting providing fertility treatments to patients in a supportive manner.
You will provide expert advice, training, and supervising in all aspects of fertility treatment, ensuring regular audit and competency of fertility Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare assistants to ensure a safe and effective standard of patient care.
Managing the day to day service provided in Cambridge IVF (CIVF), including the management of clinical activity in all areas of the Nursing service ensuring appropriate input to patient's treatment with awareness of staffing levels and skill mix. Recognising the skills required in order to support the day to day management of each nursing area.
