Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Trust's improvement and transformation team, working as part of our data for improvement service .
We are looking to appoint an experienced analyst with a passion for supporting quality improvement through the use of information, in order to highlight opportunities to make improvements for our patients, staff and organisation.
You will have previous experience in health and / or social care information systems and the use of data for improvement, preferably with an understanding of patient pathways and how clinical services are organised.
You will be able to work both independently and within the improvement and transformation team, liaising with a wide range of staff and stakeholders at all levels.
This role is key to supporting the Trust to establish a culture of sustainable continuous quality improvement; in doing so, this will achieve benefits for our patients, staff and organisation.
Main duties of the job
The Trust will create an improvement movement throughout the organisation, whereby quality improvement will become part of the day job for our clinical and non-clinical staff, driving improved patient outcomes, patient and staff experience and value. Successful improvements and projects will contribute to the delivery of the Trust's strategy.
This role is key to supporting the Trust to build and establish a culture of sustainable continuous quality improvement, to enable the required improvements; in doing so, this will achieve quality, performance, workforce and financial savings for the Trust.
