Job summary

Are you looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen within Division E (Women's and Childrens) for a fixed term/secondment for 12 month contract to support the elective recovery programme.

You will support the Operational Manager who in conjunction with the Clinical Leads and Matrons, are responsible for the operational management of Elective & Emergency services across these areas. You will take the lead responsibility for the management of the Referral to Treatment (RTT) Access and recovery plans across all areas.

Main duties of the job

The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Directorate and organization. They will manage the service areas they are responsible for, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available. They will contribute to strategic and annual business planning for their service areas, including the engagement of senior medical and other staff, as required. They will also coordinate the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and other projects for the areas they are responsible for. They will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk.

Provide cross cover across the Directorate as required. The key focus will be on the elective recovery programme and implementing new ways of working to be able to achieve this.
