The opportunity has arisen to grow and evolve our Physiotherapy service at West Suffolk Foundation Trust, Bury St Edmunds. We have an exciting prospect for a Band 5 Physiotherapy post within the acute trust, community assessment beds, and community rotations. You will benefit from working in a busy NHS Trust offering rotational experience in the following: Medicine, Community, ITU/Respiratory, Community Respiratory, Paediatrics (including MSK clinics), Neurology/Stroke, Orthopaedics and Early Intervention. Weekend working, evening clinics and emergency on-call working are integral to these rotations. Some of the rotations require seven-day rostering so you will need to be flexible to support this. Venues for delivering our services include outreach clinics, inpatient wards, patients' homes and community bases.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment and treatment of patients in a variety of inpatient, outpatient and community settings. To autonomously manage a sometimes complex clinical case load and undertake professional duties as a qualified senior physiotherapist, seeking advice where appropriate To maintain an active professional development portfolio and to continue with on-going post-graduate learning. STAFF CAR PARKING
Staff Car Parking on the West Suffolk Hospital Site is eligible for individuals working outside of the core hours, 07:00 18:30.
For individuals working within the core hours, the Trust offers parking off site at the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, which is serviced by a regular shuttle bus to and from the Hospital. Details of the bus timetable can be found in the on-line starter pack on the West Suffolk Hospital website.
This parking restriction does not apply if an individual is required to work on a weekend or if they are required to complete on call duties within their role.
