The Newmarket INT is one of six INTs in West Suffolk delivering proactive and reactive Community based care to our patients, the main office being within the Newmarket Hospital building. So you will get to work collaboratively with other WSFT colleagues.
As a Nursing Associate you will be expected not only to work within the patients home to deliver care, but in the clinic area also. Which is such a lovely blend of care environments and this gives you a feel of job satisfaction!
As a Nursing Associate within the Newmarket Nursing team you will also be working closely with our Therapy teams, Social Care teams, INT Coordinator, Administrative staff , Community Matrons and Social prescribers, just to name a few.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Registered Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse contributing to the ongoing assessment of patients and providing and monitoring care in line with care plans which have been written and agreed by the Registered Nurse or therapist. You will be accountable for delivering compassionate, person centred, evidenced based care. You will monitor the condition and health needs of people within your care on a continual basis in partnership with the multi professional team, recognising and responding to changes in the patient's condition and escalating these in a timely way.

ECG recording,
measuring and interpreting blood glucose levels

pressure area care and skin integrity

nutrition and hydration
foot care
