Band 5 Lymphoedema Nurse or Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 lymphoedema Staff Nurse/Therapist to join the Lymphoedema Service based in West Suffolk covering our clinics in Bury St Edmunds, outreach clinics and home visits for a permanent position.
We are looking for a proactive individual who will be able to work autonomously within the service. Treating patients in West Suffolk with Lymphoedema and Lipoedema.
Training will be provided for the role. You will need to have excellent communication skills, organisational skills. Community experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
We are a small and friendly team who work closely with the community services and link with other services such as the hospice.
Main duties of the job
Working alongside the senior team you will be required to maintain high standards of lymphoedema care. As part of the role, you will be providing treatment, advice and education to patients and health care professionals and promoting self-management and evidence-based treatment plans.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and will be involved in bandaging, Manual Lymphatic Massage and measuring for garments.
